How is the GV Index calculated?

In the international overview there are many inconsistent indices, some not very reliable and some focused solely on Passports.

It was difficult for an Entrepreneur or an Investor or a Customer to get a first idea of the various Countries of the world.

For this reason, thanks to over 20 years of experience and direct contact with international realities, both as Professionals and Entrepreneurs, we have created our Index, for the benefit of Everyone.

The “GV INDEX” was created by some teams of the law firm GV INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING in order to identify and catalog in a precise and flexible way the characteristics of each Country in terms of advantages and disadvantages, including taxation, livability, freedom, opportunities for business or relocation for personal/family reasons. Unlike many other indices spread on the web, the GV INDEX is an index that qualifies the various states of the world by intertwining a series of macro-criteria and specific criteria, extrapolated from the main world indices and from a series of further technical evaluations, which allows you to establish a specific score for each single aspect considered important to consider when evaluating a transfer to the Country or a business hypothesis on site. The significant number of criteria adopted allows a detailed evaluation of the Country as a whole, but also on individual specific aspects, with the relative possibility of cross-referencing only the data of interest based on the customer's needs, thus making the index extremely flexible.

The Index is created in this first phase on some Countries with the aim of describing all the Countries in the world in the near future.

In order to take into account all the main aspects of a Country, the GV Index is structured according to 9 macro-categories, each of which establishes a score based on others' 5 sub-criteria, extrapolated from various international indices and/or technical evaluations. There is also our evaluation dictated by our direct experience thanks to over 20 years of activity.

For each sub-category a score is therefore assigned from 1 (minimum) to 5 (maximum) based on the ranking for that specific index or for that single evaluation.

Of the 5 sub-categories identified for each macro-category, 4 of them refer to indices or other objective parameters, while the fifth is a technical-professional evaluation by the experts of the GV studio based on their on-site experience and a consideration general on the basis of the specific indexes used, so as to take into account further factual factors that may not emerge in the individual indexes.

For each category an absolute score is then assigned (from 5 to 25), given by the sum of the individual votes and the total sum of the different scores assigns a general score to the Country (from 45 to 225).

Precisely in order to best guarantee the cross-referencing of the data and the correspondence of the indexes used with respect to the reference category, some (few) indexes can be found in more than one macro-category.

In particular, the 9 macro-categories are indicated below with the relative sub-categories provided for each of them.
